1-General Information and Definitions
Classes will be conducted through the Distance Education System (UES) under the administration of Marmara University Distance Education Application and Research Center.
The Distance Education System (UES) is a web-based software application that facilitates the management, documentation, tracking, reporting, and dissemination of educational programs. UES supports various applications, serving as a platform for online content in both synchronous and asynchronous classes. It can provide classroom management for courses administered and conducted by our university's teaching staff, including blended learning experiences.
Attendance requirements for distance education courses are governed by Marmara University's regulations, including the Regulations on Associate and Undergraduate Education-Training and Examinations, as well as the Principles and Procedures Regarding Distance Education in Higher Education Institutions. Additionally, specific implementation details may be communicated through announcements and information provided by the university.
Through the Marmara University Distance Education System, you can do the following:
- Track weekly course documents for announced courses.
- Attend live classes available within the system.
- Ask questions or inquire about the system via email.
- Access important dates related to education through announcements.
You can also engage with the course instructor through the virtual classroom, where you can take live classes and communicate via live chat or email.
