3-Use of UES and Technical Issues

Once you have logged in to the UES, you can access the course content (virtual class, video, documentation, etc.) by clicking on the name of a course you have chosen from the title “My Lessons”. All content on this page is listed below. If desired, the filtering properties on the page can be used.

Each course assigned to you at UES is handled with the simultaneous participation of the faculty and the students of that course. Each week, on the day and time specified in the BYS curriculum, teachers and students can meet in a pre-added Virtual Classroom (live class) session to communicate voice and video. These live classes are automatically recorded by the system and subsequently recorded live lessons can be watched.

Students can only attend live classes in a virtual classroom via UES. After logging in to the UES, first open the relevant course page to attend live classes in the virtual classroom. On the page that opens, click the Virtual Class tab that starts on it. Automatically switching from UES to Perculus+ Virtual Class software. If there is a large number of activities on the lesson page, you can only filter using the All Activities button at the top of the page to display the Virtual Class activities.

Live course programs can be viewed from the Lesson Schedule tab in the left menu after logging in to BYS. There is no curriculum module in the UES. When the lesson page is opened in UES, you can see the start and end dates and times of the session right below the Virtual Class card.

For each class assigned to you at UES, a teacher is assigned as a tutor. After the relevant course page is opened, the name of the instructor assigned to the course will appear in the upper right corner. When students want to communicate with a faculty, they can send a message to the faculty via the UES by using the Contact late button under the teacher's name.

The progress status of the lesson shows the sum of your attendance to each activity in the relevant lesson. The system automatically calculates the percentage of course progress after evaluating the user's status of participation in all activities within that course. This calculation is specially automated for each user with specific periods. Therefore, it may take a certain amount of time, depending on the system density, to fully reflect the calculations.

On the relevant course page, click Task activity. On the To-do page, you can download the to-do file uploaded by the instructor to your device with the Download button. Using the Load task button, you can forward your own task file to the trainer. In the Upload permissions section, you can see how many times you have permission to upload files for this task. For detailed information about the assignment activity, see you can use the training document and video on http://online.marmara.edu.tr/

students taking classes for the assignment activity until the final delivery date specified by the faculty. They can load their tasks as a document in pdf,.docx,.xlsx,.pptx,.zip,.rar,.jpg,... formats. An alert is issued for inappropriate file types. The maximum file size to upload is 200 Mb. The system allows only one document at a time, preventing the loading of multiple documents. When tasks need to host more than one file, they should be loaded as a single file within the ZIP or RAR file.

Decisions concerning interim examinations, all measurements and evaluations made at the end of the semester or during the semester can be followed from the announcements at our university's Academic Calendar http://takvim.marmara.edu.tr/, the institutional website, the Chairman of the Student Affairs Department https://oidb.marmara.eu.tr/ page.

The number of downloads determines how many times a student can change the task file that he or she has uploaded to the system. So when you give 5 upload rights for the Task activity, students have the right to delete the task they have loaded to the system 5 times by the last delivery date and then install a new one instead. This attribute can be thought of as a kind of number of to-do corrections for students. Students are advised to zip it up if they need to load more than one document, because they can only load one document at a time on the Task Loading page. Document zipping applications (Winrar, Winzip, etc.) are available for students using mobile devices.

During the Add-Out period, you can access a newly received lesson's live lesson records and uploaded documents.

Even though there are classes for certain weeks, you can watch the record for those weeks.

Your subsequent registration does not result in a loss of access to the course content.

As a time frame, you can follow some or all of your matching lessons at the same time.

UES sets a participation rate for each user based on live participation and re-tracking data for each Virtual Class activity. The calculation algorithms of this rate are automated by the system at certain periods. Therefore, it may take a certain amount of time, depending on the system density, to fully reflect the calculations. As participation rates change, this can be calculated manually. Users can start calculating manually by clicking on the Re-Account button, located directly next to the relevant Virtual Class card, when they are in the List view on the lesson page. The updated live attendance and replay rates resulting from the calculation are displayed next to the virtual class name.

This may be because the student has completed the task loading phase. After clicking on the task activity, click the File Load button. On the page that opens, select the file from your computer where you have to do the task, or drag and drop it into the system. Do not close the page after the installation is completed. Make sure to click on the "Upload" button in the window that opens. When you do not click on the "Upload" button in the last step, the load of the task is also not completed. If you complete this step, your assignment will not be viewed by the tutor of the class and you will not appear to have loaded the assignment.
